Daniel Cueto will perform as guest artist (flute) in the 150th anniversary concert of the composer Julián Carrillo (1875-1965, Mexico). This extraordinary program will feature a broad range of Carrillo's tonal, atonal, and microtonal works, including Preludio a Colón (for solo soprano, flute and guitar in quarter tones, string quartet in eighths tones, and sixteenth-tone harp) and Balbuceos, para piano metamorfoseador “Carrillo” de 16avos. de tono (which features the sixteenth-tone piano as soloist, accompanied by chamber ensemble).
